As a result of impending retirement, a vacancy has arisen in the Provincial Office for the role of Provincial Deputy Grand Secretary.

Reporting to the Provincial Grand Secretary, the successful candidate will need to:

  • Have a general understanding of Freemasonry.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of computing and especially with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Ideally have an understanding of Web based programs (design, programming and implementation).
  • Be self-motivated.


The role will involve working closely with, and be responsible for, a small closely-knit team of dedicated employees and volunteers, and would involve hands-on administration of a multitude of activities.


You must be a strong team player, with the ability to work under your own initiative and have excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels.


It is essential that you are able to multi-task throughout the day, whilst maintaining complete professionalism under pressure.

The work pattern will not necessarily involve a daily commute to Liverpool and salary will be commensurate with experience.
