Freemasons believe in an ethical approach to life. Our values are based on integrity, kindness, honesty and fairness. Members are urged to regard the interests of the family as paramount. However, Freemasonry also teaches and practises concern for people, care for the less fortunate and help for those in need.

    Welcome to the new website for the Eccles and District Group of Lodges and Chapters in the Province of West Lancashire.

    May I thank you for visiting our website and I hope that it will be useful and informative both to Masons and non-Masons who wish to expand their interest in all aspects of Freemasonry.

    Our Group is made up of 15 lodges and five chapters and, at present, has a membership of around 300 and is slowly beginning to rise in numbers. We have two meeting places within the Group.

    Freemasonry is well established in this area with our oldest Lodge being well over 140 years old, but although some traditions have been upheld over the years, we are continuing to move with modern times which is clearly seen here on our new Website…
