    Welcome to the website for the Eccles and District Group of Lodges and Chapters in the Province of West Lancashire.

    May I thank you for visiting our website and I hope that it will be useful and informative both to Masons and non-Masons who wish to expand their interest in all aspects of Freemasonry.

    Our Group is made up of fifteen lodges and five chapters meeting across our halls at Eccles and Swinton, with a growing membership of around 310.  We are also pleased to host meetings of other Masonic degrees such as Mark Masonry and the Rose Croix

    Freemasonry is well established in our Group with our oldest Lodge being well over 140 years old, and we continue to uphold these traditions whilst embracing change, leaving Masonry in the Eccles Group relevant to us all…
